The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide a battery assembly having improved assembly workability. The battery assembly (1) is provided with: a plurality of battery modules (2) laminated in alternation and each provided with a case (27) housing a unit cell (21); and a through bolt (4) that penetrates a through hole (28) formed at the cases (27) along the direction of lamination of the battery modules (2) to each other and that joins the battery modules (2) to each other. The battery modules (2) are further provided with a penetrating auxiliary member (3) that penetrates at least one aperture (29) of the through holes (28), and the penetrating auxiliary member (3) has a tapered section (213) such that the inner diameter gradually decreases towards the tip of the penetrating auxiliary member (3). |
