Provided is a prewarning locating monitoring device for a multidirectional monitoring area. The monitoring device can still monitor a panorama area having a larger range even in the case of low illumination. The monitoring device comprises a vertical prewarning mechanism, a horizontal prewarning mechanism and a warning component. By acquiring prewarning videos from a plurality of directions, the monitoring device directly detects the dynamic state in a plurality of prewarning video images, thereby determining location information about a monitored moving target; the monitoring device marks a contour and a moving track of the moving target in a monitoring area, and then conducts illumination warning and sound warning on the moving target; and at the same time, the monitoring device also adds a warning signal into a corresponding video image, controls a master control device to generate a warning action through a feedback instruction, and finally stores a plurality of prewarning videos marked with the contour and the moving track of the moving target and transmits same to a display device of a video monitoring system. The monitoring device has a function of multidirectional monitoring area adjustment, and the applicability and flexibility thereof are improved significantly.
