The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for mixing two liquids and a two-chamber container having a simple structure, capable of reliably separating the two liquids before use, and capable of easily and reliably mixing the two liquids when used. This two-chamber container (1) is provided with a first container (100) having a first chamber (111) and a second container (200) having a second chamber (211) wherein, by inserting a straw, the first chamber and second chamber are connected and the contents filled in each of the first chamber and the second chamber are mixed. The first container and the second container are linked in a state in which a first wall and a second wall are facing each other. The second container has a straw insertion section (230a) through which the straw is inserted, and before the state in which the tip of the straw reaches the inner peripheral surface of the first chamber, the opening area formed in the first wall is greater than the cross-section area of the straw at the same height as the first wall, and the opening area formed in the second wall is greater than the cross-section area of the straw at the same height as the second wall.
