The conductor bar has an inner conductor (11) with a rectangular cross section, where the inner conductor is encased in an even section of the bar using a mica tape insulator. A mica tape (15) is wrapped in helix shape around a longitudinal axis of the inner conductor, where adjacent parallel edges (16) of the mica tape surrounding the inner conductor have an overlap (OL), which is smaller than half of width of the mica tape, where the width of the mica tape is 100 millimeter. The mica tape has a mica section that is coated with graphite or carbon black, where the mica section is arranged on a mica layer containing a carbon fiber web. A glass fiber fabric is provided on the mica tape. |
