<p>The present invention relates to a regeneration method of a waste abrasives containing ceria, which effectively removes impurities included in the waste abrasives containing ceria, and allows proper regeneration of a waste abrasives containing ceria as the stability of the regeneration process is secured. The regeneration method of a waste abrasive containing ceria comprises a step of dissolving waste sludge containing ceria (CeO2) in a solubilizer solution containing (a) fluorine compounds of NaHF2, (NH4)HF2 or KHF2, or (b) a mixture of a fluoride salt of NaF, (NH4)F or KF, and a non-fluorine acid; a step of removing impurities containing silica (SiO2) dissolved in the solubilizer solution by washing the waste sludge containing ceria; and a step of re-dispersing and filtering, or drying and plasticizing the washed waste sludge containing ceria.
