<p>Provided is a sensing apparatus for a user terminal having a camera, which includes an image analyzing module (110) for analyzing image parameters of an object photographed by the camera, and a touch determining module (120) for determining a touch state and a touch intensity of the object for the user terminal based on the image parameters analyzed by the image analyzing module (110). According to the present invention, the touch input of the object for the user terminal and the rotation angle of the user terminal can be sensed by using the camera previously installed in the user terminal without addition a hardware device or changing the hardware device. Therefore, the use of a camera function can be extended to various manipulations and various controls of the user terminal, as well as a photographing unit for an exgternal object. Further, a user can touch a camera typically mounted on a rear surface of a touch screen with a predetermined intensity, so that the user can manipulate and control the user terminal without covering the touch screen.
