Template for marking cloth

A template for marking cloth for stitching comprises innermost 11, middle 12a and outermost 12b plates arranged around a common centre which may comprise hole 10 drilled in the innermost plate. The plates are connected by connecting rods 31 and 32 which may be arranged in a straight line. Each of the plates has different inner and outer dimensions so that they can be arranged within each other to define a spacing between them. The spacing between innermost and middle plates may be the same as the spacing between the middle and outermost plates. A pair of similar plates may be joined by connecting portions 33 in which case the plates of one of the pair are all of different dimensions to the plates of the other of the pair. The plates may be circular, triangular or hexagonal and may be moulded from clear plastics material. The innermost plate may include a hole bridged by a connecting rod 31 in which is located the centre defining hole 10.
