<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel luminaire capable of allowing a wider span while retaining an average road surface brightness and of achieving a superior wall surface brightness. <P>SOLUTION: The tunnel luminaire 1 attached to each of both wall surfaces 9A, 9B of a tunnel 3 to illuminate a road surface of a roadway 4 from each sidewall 9A, 9B has a light distribution symmetric around zero degree horizontal angle when a horizontal angle and a vertical angle are defined based on a mounting position P, wherein the light distribution is arranged with the maximum luminous intensity within a range of 40 to 60 degree horizontal angle and also 50 to 70 degree vertical angle, and wherein a luminous intensity illuminating an opposed wall surface within a range of 0 to 70 degree both vertical angle and horizontal angle corresponding to a position of a predetermined height T on the opposed wall surface opposed to the mounting position P is made no less than the minimum luminous intensity illuminating the road surface between a center line 7 of the roadway 4 and the opposed wall surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
