The present invention relates to a gas and liquid separating system and, more specifically, to a gas and liquid separating system which is capable of preventing a gas blow-by of a liquid discharging part from a suction scrubber according to the gas pressure of an inflowing part of a compressor, thereby avoiding an unnecessary implementation of high priced low temperature material such as stainless steel or titanium in equipment or pipes; and preventing change in materials for the equipment and the pipes according to the interpretation result. According to the present invention, the gas and liquid separating system including the followings: a suction scrubber which separates inflowing fluid into gas and liquid; a compressor which is installed in the gas transferring line discharging the separated gas from the suction scrubber; a liquid blocking valve which is installed in the liquid discharging line discharging separated liquid from the suction scrubber; a pressure sensor which outputs detecting signal by measuring the pressure of the inflowing gas from the compressor; a controller which controls the liquid blocking valve to be closed when the pressure of the gas flowing in the compressor is reached to a first inputted value which is predetermined while receiving the detecting signal outputted from the pressure sensor.
