The purpose of the present invention is to remove floating materials floating on a surface of water resulted from rancid green tide or red tide, oil component in the water, leaves or general plastic pieces, Styrofoam pellets, or the like. An apparatus for removing floating particles on a water surface is a unit for adsorbing and removing a floating material including a floating material introducing part, a floating material filtering part, and a collecting channel when removing the floating material from the water. The floating material introducing part has a closed bottom plate in the depth of water of 1 to 10 cm from water, wherein both side surfaces of the bottom plate protrude from the water surface and have a tapered structure with a fan-shape. A floating material filtering part is provided from any one of a fixed structure having a hole and a net on a bottom plate by facing the tapered floating material introducing part or a movable structure having a rotating body to double as a floating material filter. The collecting channel is provided to fill the lower part of the floating material filter part with water passed through the filter part up to the predetermined depth and drains water in the collecting channel through a filter tank by pumping the water. |
