<p>Provided is an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus that can display an image capable of distinguishing between a tumor and a cyst. The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises: a physical quantity data generation unit (5) for calculating a physical quantity related to the elasticity of each part in a biological tissue; a computing unit (6) for computing a computed value of a computational equation, wherein the computed value emphasizes parameter characteristics of a cyst in the biological tissue to distinguish the cyst from others, and the computational equation uses at least two of the following three parameters: an absolute value of the physical quantity calculated by the physical quantity data generation unit, a correlation coefficient in correlation computation, and the intensity of an eco signal of an ultrasonic wave obtained from the biological tissue; and a display unit (8) for displaying an image having a display form according to the computed value of the computing unit (6).
