PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for calculating a pitting corrosion depth, a pitting corrosion depth calculating device, and a pitting corrosion depth calculating system calculating the depth of a minute pitting corrosion formed in a waste disposal container for radioactive wastes, the minute pitting corrosion being non-measurable and non-calculable by the conventional method. SOLUTION: The method for calculating a pitting corrosion depth includes: a volume calculating step for finding a volume of a pitting corrosion from a current signal obtained by measuring a metal material with age by an electrochemical noise method; an area calculating step for finding an area of the pitting corrosion from an impedance spectrum obtained by measuring the metal material before and after the formation of the pitting corrosion by an AC impedance method; and a depth calculating step that measures the depth of the pitting corrosion by dividing the volume of the pitting corrosion by the area of the pitting corrosion.
