<p>A fan-fold blind for e.g. a window or door consists of a series of linked trapezoidal panels that fold to form a stack, or open to form a screen. The root zone of the trapezoidal panels are held in a common U-shaped root clamp that is free to move within the surrounding cover, and not secured to either of the adjacent fixed structures. The fan-fold blind may also incorporate galvanic solar cells or light emitting diodes.</p> |
