A device for the treatment of filter material for tobacco products, comprises a containment tank (30) for a plasticizing fluid, in particular triacetin; inside the containment tank (30) there are means for generating a flow of a plasticizing fluid and which directs the flow towards at least one continuous strip (36) of filter material which advances along a respective processing line at the upper opening (34) of the tank (30); the tank (30) is also equipped with one or more screens (46) for the upper opening (34), which are replaceable for rapid changeover and which form a window (48) for exposure of the strip (36) to the flow of plasticizing fluid; the window (48) has fixed dimensions which are less than the dimensions of the upper opening (34) of the tank (30) and a width which is substantially equal to the width of the strip (36). |
