The present invention provides: a method for mass-producing a mother-of-pearl panel having a large size at low costs regardless of size and having modern sense of mother-of-pearl patterns and a natural three-dimensional effect by combining a base material, a cellulose acetate film, and an unsaturated polyester resin; and a mother-of-pearl panel produced by the method. The method of the present invention can create more various designs and patterns as compared with the conventional method using an inlaying technique or a laser. Further, since the size of the panel of the present invention is not limited, the maximal size of the produced panel is great. Further, the method of the present invention can be applied to curved surfaces at edges/corners. Further, beautiful mother-of-pearl panels having various colors, textures, and three-dimensional effects can be produced by changing the base material and combining the cellulose acetate films. According to the method of the present invention, mother-of-pearl panels can be mass-produced at low costs. |
