The invention pertains to a connector comprising a connector main body (10) into which an object to be connected (1) can be inserted, a plurality of contacts (20) arranged with spaces in the width direction of the connector main body (10), a press member (30) capable of rotating for pushing the contacts (20) toward the object to be connected (1) which is inserted in the connector main body (10), a lock member (50) which locks the object to be connected (1) by engaging with an engagement portion (1a) provided at the both width ends of the object to be connected (1). When the press member (30) is rotated toward the one direction in a state in which the lock member (50) is being moved from the predetermined position toward the outside in the width direction of the connector main body (10), the both width ends of the press member (30) abut against the lock member (50) from a direction which is perpendicular to the width direction of the connector main body (10), and the abutting regulates the rotation of the press member (30), when the press member (30) is rotated toward the one direction in a state in which the lock member (50) is being returned to the predetermined position, the rotation of the press member (30) is permitted, a fixing member (40) for fixing the connector main body (10) to a circuit board, wherein the fixing member is integrally provided with the lock member (50). |
