The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cover glass for a touch panel, and more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a cover glass for a touch panel, wherein the method enables the manufacture of cover glass for a touch panel to be applied to a mobile device through a large glass substrate process. To achieve such, the method for manufacturing the cover glass for a touch panel includes: a first step of preparing a glass disk; a second step of processing the glass disk in a shape of a cell and partially processing the glass disk to prevent the cell from being separated from the glass disk; a third step of making the glass disk into a tempered glass through a chemically tempering process; and a fourth step of separating the cell from the tempered glass by completely processing the partially processed cell.
