<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance learning device by which practise effect is improved by correcting user's repeated incorrect performance. <P>SOLUTION: In Step SA3, guide display for guiding a key to be pressed for a user based on a musical note data for expressing each tone for constituting a musical piece is performed, and performance data generated by user's performance operation according to that are compared with its corresponding musical note data. If there are performance mistakes, the number of mistake occurrences is counted by classifying them into corresponding performance mistake items. This is repeated multiple times, and the note which is often mistaken in performance from each note for constituting the musical piece, and a performance mistake item which is easily occurred in the note are extracted. In Step SA4, the performance data generated by user's performance operation according to the guide display are compared with corresponding musical note data. If there are performance mistakes, it is determined whether or not, it is the performance mistake item which easily occurs in the extracted note which is often mistaken in performance.
