<p>The present invention relates to a tool holder and a method for manufacturing the tool holder. More specifically, the present invention relates to a tool holder and a method for manufacturing the tool holder, wherein the method comprises the steps of: preparing a holder outer body, which is formed of steel, and has a hollow central portion and a tool mounting part provided at one end thereof for tool mounting; expanding the holder outer body by heating the holder outer body; inserting a cemented carbide core having a communication hole into the expanded holder outer body; and cooling the holder outer body to shrink the holder outer body so that the inserted cemented carbide core is fixed into the holder outer body. According to the present invention, the tool holder is configured by embedding the cemented carbide core in the holder outer body of steel, and a tool is mounted at one end of the holder outer body of the tool holder, thereby solving the conventional problem in which as a cemented carbide tool holder is brazing-bonded with the tool, the cemented carbide tool holder and the tool are easily separated from each other by due to external physical shock. In addition, when the holder part is broken for the long-term use, the cemented carbide core may be separated from the holder outer body, and then recylcled.
