The present invention relates to a freezing/refrigeration system driving device through the supply of external power which is configured to receive electrical energy from the outside and to have an emergency energy storing part disposed at the inside thereof, so as to prevent an operation of a freezing/refrigeration system from stopping at the time when the supply of the external power is cut off in an abnormal state. Accordingly, the freezing/refrigeration system driving device includes: a connection controller adapted to receive external power through an input signal of a user or automatic sensing; a power source selector adapted to select the power of an engine generating part and the external power inputted through the connection controller according to the input signal of the user and to supply the selected power; a power converter adapted to control a motor with the power applied thereto and to perform the charging and discharging for an energy storing part; and the energy storing part adapted to be charged and discharged by means of the power converter and to perform the power supply at the time when the power for the engine generation is exchanged into the external power.
