The present invention relates to a printer head protective apparatus which protects a printer head from colliding with a surface curve unit on a printed material by sensing the surface curve unit on the moving printed material in advance. The printer head protective apparatus comprises: a horizontal frame which is installed vertically in the upper part of the printed material in the moving direction of the printed material and where multiple printer heads are formed in a row; an operating unit which moves the horizontal frame up and down; a sensing unit which is connected with the horizontal frame at fixed intervals on the front end of the printer head, and outputs a first sensing signal by sensing a surface curve unit on the printed material; and a control unit which controls the operation of the operating unit in order to move the horizontal frame upward when the first sensing signal is inputted by a first sensing unit.
