<p>A shuttering system 1 for concrete or settable material to form a raft (5, fig 1), wherein the system has a shutter member 16 and brace member 26, wherein the shutter member has a base portion 18 and at least one wall portion 17 being U or L-shaped. The brace and wall portion have cooperating engagement means, which may be a hook/protrusion with a detent 30 and a slot 25 respectively. The brace may be U-shaped and abut the side walls and base portion. The brace and base portion may have apertures/holes 35 & 27 to fasten the shuttering system to a substrate/working surface 4 via screws (6, fig 1). The side walls may be of unequal heights. The side walls may have n-shaped top edge with a distal end extending downwards being submerged/covered in the concrete. A side wall may have apertures 36 for reinforcing bars.</p> |
