PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insecticidal incense stick exhibiting an excellent efficacy. SOLUTION: This insecticidal incense stick comprises an insecticidal incense stick base containing a compound of formula (1) (wherein R is hydrogen atom, methyl group, methoxy group or methoxymethyl group; and X and Y are each independently chlorine atom, methyl group or hydrogen atom), a calcium alkylbenzensulfonate and a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether.
