A III-V compound solar cell of the present invention includes: a substrate; a back electrode layer formed on the substrate; a nanowire (NW) growth layer formed on the back electrode layer; a photoelectric conversion layer formed on the nanowire growth layer; and a transparent electrode layer formed on the photoelectric conversion layer, wherein the photoelectric conversion layer includes an n-type III-V compound NW formed on the n-type NW compound layer. The III-V compound solar cell can be stacked, thereby it has a range of wide band gap and shows great efficiency and great performance and also economical.
