发明名称 PROCEDIMIENTO CONTINUO PARA LA OXIDACION PARCIAL DE HIDRO- CARBUROS.
摘要
1,189,695. Oxidation of hydrocarbons. HALCON INTERNATIONAL Inc. 10 May, 1967 [12 May, 1966], No. 21659/67. Addition to 1,123,583. Heading C2C. Hydrocarbons are oxidized to alcohols in a continuous process comprising reacting the hydrocarbons in the liquid phase with molecular oxygen in the presence of a boron compound, capable of forming an ester with the alcohol produced, in a plurality of reaction zones arranged in series, in which at least A per cent of the oxygen is reacted with liquid hydrocarbon containing a molar concentration of oxidized hydrocarbon of at least 1À5%, in which A= (x - 1À5/x).100 and x is the per cent total hydrocarbon conversion in the oxidation process, and a vapour effluent containing unreacted hydrocarbon is withdrawn from each of the reaction zones, these effluents are combined, unreacted hydrocarbon is separated therefrom by condensation and is recycled to the various reaction zones and distributed among them so that the required concentration of oxidized hydrocarbon in each zone is maintained. The preferred boron compound is metaboric acid but other suitable compounds are orthoboric acid, tetraboric acid, pyroboric acid and boron oxide. The ester obtained is hydrolysed to give the required alcohol. The process is applicable to hydrocarbons generally and especially to cycloalkanes, e.g. cyclopentane, cyclohexane, cycloheptane, cyclooctane and cyclodecane. Some of the ketone corresponding to the hydrocarbon is also formed.
