METHOD OF MANUFACTURING BROADBAND SECTIONAL SCREW BLANKS

Disclosed is a method of manufacturing broadband sectional screw blanks, wherein a flat annular blank is obtained and deformed for a pitch in a die through axial movement of a screw working surface of a punch in the direction of die up to closing with the screw working surface of the die on the thickness of blank up to formation of a broadband sectional screw blank. Further on the flat annular sectional blank from its inner edge radial slits of different length are made, each of which from the outer edge of sectional screw blank is connected to an annular sectional groove of constant width disposed equidistantly relative to the outer edge of blank. The difference between the lengths of two adjacent radial openings is not greater than one third of the coil width, and the ends of adjacent annular groove sectional openings are arranged on one radial line relative to the center of curvature of the outer edge of sectional screw blank.
