A device with elongated pressing zone for removal of liquid from movable sheet of fiber material, for instance, paper, includes an elongated pressing zone formed with pressing shaft and flexible infinite pressing belt that rotates and is in contact with the shoe for pressing to the pressing shaft, one or two infinite cloths providing feeding of wet sheet to the elongated pressing zone between the pressing shaft and the pressing sheet and its displacement in the long pressing zone and feed of fiber sheet (paper) on the cloth belt to the following pressing device or to drying section of paper-making machine. The shoe for pressing the pressing belt has inner cavity connected to the source of compressed gas (air) or vapor, and openings for outflow of compressed gas to pressing belt, this has openings for passage of compressed gas through the belt to the pressing zone and formation of additional hydraulic pressure with it. |
