A method of explosive hardening and cladding tooth of excavator buckets, wherein on a surface subject to hardening an explosive charge is placed, whose detonation speeds exceed the speed of sound of hardenable metal. After hardening the tooth surfaces of excavator buckets by contact explosion the latter are placed between the unhardened teeth of excavator buckets, on the surfaces subject to hardening of which the explosive charge is placed, above which a plate is placed, which is thrown on the surface subject to hardening and cladding. |
