METHOD FOR QUALITY CONTROL OF ROOF-BOLT SETTING

A method for quality control of roof-bolt setting includes fixation of geophone on the rocks of the roofing of the working near the roof bolt, with excitation of elastic vibrations in massif, determination of resonance frequencies of acoustic signal. At the same position of the geophone the roof bolt and the roofing rocks at distance 1.0- from the roof bolt are hammered. In the frequency intervals chosen total relative energy of resonance frequencies is determined. The quality of roof-bolt setting is considered to be unsatisfactory if the total relative energy of resonance frequencies at excitation of elastic vibrations at hammering the roof bolt is smaller compared to excitation of elastic vibrations by hammering the rock by critical value.
