A method for diagnostics and evaluation of the degree of acute hepatic failure severity at liver injury and its complications provides for the determination of content of interleukin-6 (IL-6), glycolized haemoglobin (HbA1c) and effective albumin concentration (EAC) in patient’s blood. If HbA1c value is 5.5 %, EAC value is 38 % and IL-6 value is 17 pg/ml, the latent (compensated) stage of acute hepatic failure is diagnosed. If HbA1c is 5.9 %, EAC is 32 % and IL-6 is 23 pg/ml, the light (subcompensated) stage is diagnosed. If HbA1c is6.2 %, EAC is 28 % and IL-6 is 30 pg/ml, the medium (not compensated) stage is diagnosed. If HbA1c>6.3 %, EAC<27 %, IL-6 is 38 pg/ml, the severe (terminal) stage is diagnosed. |
