The present invention relates to an embedded multimedia card (eMMC) device, a host, an eMMC system and an operation method thereof. The operation method of the eMMC system according to the embodiments of the present invention comprises the steps of: enabling the host to transmit SEND_EXT_CSD to read a busy state control information of the eMMC device; and enabling the eMMC device to replay with the busy state control information to the host. The busy state control information is information to control for gating a host clock signal until the eMMC device generates a new request to the host or the host transmits a new command to the eMMC device if the eMMC device is in a busy state.
