The present invention relates to a plate-type battery cell. More particularly, the present invention relates to a plate-type battery cell where electrolyte and an electrode assembly where a separator is formed between an anode and a cathode are sealed in a battery case. The battery case comprises a sheet type member. A sheet sealing part in a position where the plate-type electrode terminal is formed is formed by thermal melting or bonding. An opening part for exposing the plate-type electrode is formed in one side or both sides of the sheet sealing part.
