Disclosed is a novel safety guard rail supporting device capable of facilitating the installation work of a safety guard rail and further rigidly and stably supporting a safety guard rail installed on the outside of a ship block or a civil engineering or construction structure in order to prevent a worker from falling in high construction sites of various civil engineering and construction or when a ship is built in a shipyard or an external wall of the built hull is painted. The present invention includes: multiple columns rigidly coupled to an outer end of a ship block by a coupling member of a lower part and installed to vertically erect at regular intervals; guard rail inserting pieces which have U shapes to have openings on the tops thereof, have vertical surfaces on side surfaces of the column to be welded and fixed to upper and middle parts of the column, and have guide grooves sloping downward on the inner sides of parts fixed to the column to insert, into through holes formed in the lower parts of the guide grooves, multiple safety guard rails which are installed between columns to horizontally cross; and wedge pieces which are inserted and coupled into the through holes and guide grooves formed on the guard rail inserting pieces and which firmly press and fix the safety guard rails inserted into the guard rail inserting pieces while the safety guard rails are inserted into the guard rail inserting pieces and then are pressed downward to be inclined along the guide grooves. |
