The cross-piece includes a rigid core (10) that extends from the former support to the latter support by forming a reinforcement layer (11). A set of reinforcement strips (B1-B10) embraces the core in a thickness direction. Another reinforcement layer (12) is perforated and is superimposed on the former reinforcement layer, while only partially covering the former reinforcement layer according to a predetermined reinforcement pattern (13). The vehicle is utilized for individual or collective transport of people or goods. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a rigid part.
