<p>The core making device, useful for casting by gravity, comprises a supply portion such as a firing head (2), a ring constituting part such as a core box, and an enclosure equipped with an upstream opening that contains the powder compound and distributes the compound in the cavities. The firing head is intended to supply powder compound. The core box includes cavities that form desired core. The enclosure comprises: a removable powder compound distributor member having a volume, which is defined on a part by a bottom wall disposed with respect to a downstream wall of the enclosure. The through channels: emerge in the upper wall of the distributor member at a bottom of its protruding part; emerge in a peripheral zone of the upper wall; and are present in the form of a truncated cone.
