The device (10) has two bottom planes (20, 30) and walls (11-13, 51, 52) upright relative to the bottom planes. Stacking lugs (15, 55) are secured to the walls, where the stacking lugs form an angle less than or equal to 45 degrees with respect to the bottom planes. The bottom planes are arranged so as to receive stacking lugs of another packing device placed below the packing device. The bottom planes define recesses and fold lines forming flaps articulated on the remainder of the bottom planes by the fold lines, where the device is made of rigid or semi-rigid material such as paperboard.
