The present invention relates to a method for producing a heat-treated biomass fuel, including: a raw material preparation step, in which the raw materials of the biomass are prepared; a biomass molding step, in which the prepared raw materials are put to high temperature molding device, to form a molded article of biomass having forms of pellet, briquette, and block; a biomass desiccation step, in which the molded article of biomass is put to a desiccator, so as to contain the moisture contents of 1-2% by weight; and a biomass heat treatment step, in which the desiccated article of biomass is heat-treated.
