The invention relates to a universal mount (100) for mobile phones or GPS units, for attaching to the rear-view mirror, said rear-view mirror having at the back a stem with a ball joint for attaching it to the windscreen, said mount comprising: - a plate (7) that is positioned at the back of the rear-view mirror, having two arms (2, 3), one on either side of the stem for attaching the rear-view mirror to the windscreen, forming hooks over the top edge of the rear-view mirror, - the plate (7) at the back of the rear-view mirror has, towards the bottom, one or more hooks for gripping the lower edge of the rear-view mirror, - the plate comprises means (21) for holding a mobile phone or GPS unit. The invention also relates to a universal mount for mobile phones or GPS units, for attaching to the rear-view mirror, comprising jaws (31, 32) positioned on a bar (30'), one of the jaws (32) being slidable with a clamping handle (33) for securing the mount to the rear-view mirror and a release catch (34) for releasing it, and comprising means for holding a mobile phone or GPS unit. |
