The present invention provides a protein-active agent conjugate with an amino acid motif which can be recognized by isoprenoid transferase. The present invention also provides a composition containing the protein-active agent conjugate, production methods of the protein-active agent conjugate and the composition. The present invention not only provides an additional method of transferring an active agent to a target cell using the conjugate, but also a method of treating an object (e.g. an object requiring the active agent) using the conjugate.
