A light emitting device according to an embodiment comprises: a body with a cavity; a first lead frame located on the floor of the cavity; a second lead frame located on the floor of the cavity; and a light emitting chip located on the first lead frame, wherein the cavity includes a first internal surface adjacent to the light emitting chip and a second internal surface opposite to the first internal surface, and the second internal surface has a smaller width than the width of the first internal surface and the width of at least one side of the light emitting chip.
