<p>A storage element of the present invention is prepared with an electrode wound with sheet-shaped cathode and anode, with a separator in between the two electrodes. The electrode has first and second flat portions facing each other, and first and second flexures which connect the end portions of the first and second flat portions. The electrode is flat. Either the cathode or the anode covers the end portion of the inner circumference of the other electrode, to be arranged on the innermost circumference of the electrode body.
