The method involves providing a signal (S1) to be demodulated, and filtering the signal to be demodulated by a filter (205) whose bandwidth includes two coding frequencies (f1, f2) of the signal. The bandwidth is centered on a frequency that is distinct from a center frequency (fc) of the signal. The filtered signal (S2) is processed by an envelope detector (207). The bandwidth is centered on the frequency that is higher or equal to highest of the coding frequencies. The filter is arranged with a ring oscillator. An independent claim is also included for a circuit for demodulation of radio frequency signal.
