<p>The invention relates to a device for handling and lifting loads, said device being an automatic device for hoisting loads, that divides the course, the energy used during the traction, and the time spent on the manoeuvring. It consists of a shortening element (1) provided with self-lubricating bearings (2) enabling said element to travel along the rounded rails (3), the surface of the shortening element (1) comprising four pulleys (16), each one being provided with a scraper (18). When the shortening element (1) is moved by means of motor-driven traction or crank traction (54), it meets cables (19) - (28) - (29) to the left and to the right, said cables being held by pulleys (6) which are fixed to the cross-members (4), pulleys (16) first entraining cables (19), crossing pulleys (7) which retain part of the cable (19) at the level of the starting point. The shortening element travels 25% of the distance of the load to be hoisted, thus marking the delivery of a load, then actuating the saddles (8) that trigger the advancement of the scrapers (18) which, as they pivot, remove cables (19) from pulleys (16), and said cables (19) are collected by the masters (31) of the cables, which reinstall them in the circuit and repeat the same for cables (28) and (29). The device according to the invention is applicable to all types of mechanical movements, including those comprising gears, and can accelerate the original speed by up to eight times.</p> |
