PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clock frequency controller that dynamically controls clock frequency while securing stable circuit operation.SOLUTION: The clock frequency controller comprises: a clock generation unit generating a clock signal; a power source variation monitor unit monitoring an up and down change in power source voltage; a timing margin monitor unit calculating timing margin of a circuit that receives supply of clock signal; and a clock frequency adjustment unit increasing/decreasing or maintaining the frequency of the clock signal on the basis of up and down change in the power source voltage and the size of the timing margin. The clock frequency adjustment unit increases the frequency of the clock signal when the power source voltage is increased and the timing margin is equal to or greater than an appropriate value. |
