PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seawater desalination system which can control degradation of a RO membrane by controlling concentration of a causative agent which is a factor of biofouling in water to treat conducted to the RO membrane based on quantitative analysis for each processing of the water to treat.SOLUTION: A seawater desalination system S1 comprises: a RO membrane 1a which takes raw water 201, intermediate treated water that impurity materials of the raw water 201 are removed and biological activity treated water 204 that organic matter in the intermediate treated water is biodegraded as water to treat, and filters the biological activity treated water 204; and fouling control means for controlling content of causative agent accelerating increase of microbe in the RO membrane 1a in the biological activity treated water 204 based on at least one of a concentration of saccharide in the raw water 201 and a concentration of saccharide in the intermediate treated water, and a concentration of saccharide in the biological activity treated water 204. |
