PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defect automatic repair winding device capable of implementing minimum necessary repair on a breakdown voltage defect (such as a flaw or a pinhole) within the step of winding a wire supplied from a supply section around a winding section without requiring a manual check step or a separate inspection device, and a defect automatic repair winding method.SOLUTION: A defect automatic repair winding device according to an embodiment of the present invention is configured to wind, around a winding section, a wire supplied from a wire supply section which supplies a wire including an insulative coating. The defect automatic repair winding device comprises: detection means for detecting at least a portion, where a breakdown voltage defect is present, in a region of the wire at a side to be exposed when wound around the winding section; and coating means for coating the breakdown voltage defect detected by the detection means with an insulator. |
