PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conditioner having improved overall conversion efficiency by switching AC voltage of output to an isolation transformer at the time of coordinated operation depending on a season, temperature and the like.SOLUTION: A photovoltaic power conditioner generates an AC voltage with an inverter from a DC voltage from a solar cell module, and includes an isolation transformer that transforms a primary AC voltage that is the AC voltage converted by the inverter to a secondary voltage to be used as a system voltage. The isolation transformer is provided with a high boost rate tap having a high boost rate and a low boost rate tap having a low boost rate. Change-over switches are provided for switching the taps to connect the primary AC voltage to one of the taps. The photovoltaic power conditioner includes a control unit that includes a calendar having season information and a detector for detecting a temperature of the solar cell module, and controls the change-over switches on the basis of the season information in the calendar or the temperature detected by the detector. |
