PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid spraying method by which color development properties and glossiness of a recorded image etc. can be further improved, by using white-based liquid and gloss-based liquid, and to provide a liquid spraying device for materializing the liquid spraying method.SOLUTION: A first nozzle array 28a has: a white base correspondence nozzle group (W); and a gloss base correspondence nozzle group (S), and the first nozzle array 28a is arranged on the front side in a forward path direction which is a first relative movement direction with a recording medium such as a recording sheet 6 in a recording head 3. A second nozzle array 28b has: a white base correspondence nozzle group: and a gloss base correspondence nozzle group, and the second nozzle array 28b is arranged on the rear side in the forward path direction in the recording head. The liquid spraying device sprays white ink from the white base correspondence nozzle group of the second nozzle array after spraying the silver ink from the gloss base correspondence nozzle group of the first nozzle array in movement on the forward path, and sprays the white ink from the white base correspondence nozzle group of the first nozzle array after spraying the silver ink from the gloss base correspondence nozzle group of the second nozzle array in movement on the return path . |
