PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double-layer capacitor capable of adsorbing and removing the larger amount of moisture in the inside thereof without being upsized and of suppressing the deterioration of capacitor characteristic.SOLUTION: In an electric double-layer capacitor, a cell 103 composed of sandwiching a separator 102 between a pair of active carbon electrodes 101, 101 into which an electrolytic solution is impregnated and a packing 104 arranged in the outer periphery of the cell are laminated via an intermediate electrode base material 105 and are sandwiched from both sides by end plates 107a, 107b via current collector electrode plates 106a, 106b, a cell laminate 109 formed by being fastened by a fastening bolt 108 is housed in an outer packing material 110 and the outer packing material is decompressed and sealed. The electric double-layer capacitor is provided in a position which does not come into contact with an electrolytic solution in the outer packing material and equipped with a sheet-shaped moisture adsorbent 11 which absorbs moisture. |
