The embodiments herein relate to a method in a radio base station, RBS(105) for handling data traffic. The RBS(105) is connected to a remote node (103, 203) via a wireless channel (107)and to a centralized unit (101, 201) via a first channel (115, 215). The traffic between the remote node (103, 203) and the centralized unit (101, 201) may be carried on the wireless (107) or thefirst channel (115, 215). The RBS(105)receives (308, 501), information about quality and capacity of the wireless channel (107) and information on quantity and priority of upstream data traffic waiting to be transferred from the remote node (103, 203) to the centralized unit (101, 201). Based on the information, the RBS(105) determines (355, 504) that at least part of the upstream data traffic from the remote node (103, 203) should be carried on the wireless channel (107). Figure |
